"Before working with Tracey, I was like many Type A executives who never took time to relax,  and that’s not good for you. I’ve come to realize it actually makes you less productive and less  achieving. One of the first things I learned in this work was the importance of rest.  Understanding sleep cycles was critical for me.

Another big shift for me was learning how to truly listen. I think that’s made people appreciate  me more as a leader. People want to feel heard. They want to know someone cares enough to  really listen and that makes a big difference in relationships. Listening is compassion that you  don't talk about.

As a team, I’ve noticed we’re closer now. This training helped us become a better executive  team. We’re listening to each other more, but we still challenge one another and that’s critical.  In a room full of smart people, the right answer doesn’t always come easily. You’ve got to be  willing to listen, to hear what people don’t like, and to keep the conversation respectful so the  best ideas can rise to the top.

This work has helped me generate better ideas - and present them better, too. I ask more  questions now. That came out of this training.  I think the biggest takeaway is a deeper understanding of who you are; how you react, how  you relate, and how much people value being seen and heard. If you show up that way, it goes  a long way in leadership and in life."

"Seeking help from Tracey Gazel is the best decision I have made for myself in  years. I completed nine coaching sessions and renewed for nine more, simply  because the assistance she has given me has been life changing.  Being introduced to the 3 Principles, their meaning, and how they can be used as a  model for improved clarity of thought, making rational choices, and finding peace of  mind have helped me overcome a difficult time in my personal and professional life.  I sleep better, feel less stressed, respond to adversity better, and make better  decisions.

What we think and how we respond to our thoughts or impulses is simply a choice.  It's rare our situations in life require us to make a choice without making an  objective decision regarding what that choice will be. Tracey has helped me  understand that."

-Dave Coates, Chief Operating Officer, National Laboratory for Nuclear Physics,  Department of Energy, Idaho Falls, ID

“I used to think being my best self was only when everything was working. It’s not.  Now I see that even when the world is falling apart, I’m fine. Work and life can be  stressful and hard. I remain neutral by not allowing thoughts through every space.  When I recognize the thoughts, I can step out of it all with a clear mind. I get to the  root cause of it all, and then be done with it and move on to the next thing. Doing this  work is not at the expense of productivity, it enhances productivity because you’re  able to get more done and at a higher quality with a clear mind.

You can’t control the world around you. As leaders we try to control and conquer it  all. At the end of the day, you can put all the policies and procedures in place but  what really matters is are you being kind, compassionate, and teaching? Or are you  being hard and damaging relationships? When you learn how to clear your mind, you  get to choose.  Working with Tracey has put me in a spot where my mind is clear enough to see that.  I’m less reactive. I’m less emotionally invested. I have found my peaceful place and  with practice it gets easier and easier to live from that space. This process works."

"Working with Tracey Gazel as my executive coach and consultant has been nothing  short of life-changing. As someone who is highly analytical and often "in my head," I’ve  struggled to find a coach who truly resonated with me. Tracey was that rare gem who  not only connected with me on a deep level but also guided me through a profoundly  transformative journey.

I came to her during a challenging phase in my life, both professionally and personally.  Over the course of six months, she introduced me to the Three Principles, and the  impact of this new perspective has been extraordinary. Her ability to explain and  personalize these principles helped me completely reframe my thinking. The results  were remarkable—I’ve seen a near-total reduction in my anxiety, something I never  thought possible.

At 45, I only wish I had learned these insights sooner, but I am endlessly grateful for  Tracey’s patience, wisdom, and unwavering support. She is a rare blend of compassion  and expertise, and her approach has truly changed my life.   If you’re looking for a coach who can genuinely make a difference in both your  professional and personal life, Tracey is the one. She has left a tremendous, lasting  impact on me, and I’ll forever be thankful for her guidance."

-Dr. Angie Smith, Orthodontist & Business Owner, Kelowna, BC

"Working with Tracey has been a combination of thoughtful insights, guided  suggestions, and strategies that is very individualized but also based in research,  best practice, and lived experience. There’s an understanding for Executives that  it’s lonely at the top and you don’t get to put yourself out there. It’s inappropriate  to put yourself out there with staff, a Board, or community members.

Having had this experience to work on my performance in a higher and deeper  level has been surprisingly beneficial in ways that are not always tactical. Often  with coaching and personal development, tactical strategy is involved with a  strategic plan and tactical output. This is more intentionally focused and driven  and I recommend Tracey’s coaching to anyone who is looking to improve their  performance and well-being."

-Eric Van Houten, Hospital CEO, Eugene, OR

“Working with Tracey, the biggest realization I have had is 1, my thoughts are my  thoughts, and 2, I control how I react to those thoughts which makes a difference in  every other facet of my professional and my private life.  At work, it’s enabled me to de-stress, especially prior to presentations or meetings.  It’s enabled me to not get so ramped up and not get overly anxious about meetings  and engagements.

At home, I’m more cognizant of reactions and their impact. I’m able to take a step  back before reacting.  Since starting to work with you I have lost a lot of weight, I am much more physically  active, and much more careful of what foods I consume. I have a desire to be my  fittest self.  My team has benefited from me working with you. I have a greater appreciation and  more empathy for others. As I have grown, it’s given me more empathy.”
